QUALITY assured
1

Quality is always our foremost thought to serve our Clients as they deserve. We don’t see quality as an expense and know that it is poor quality, poor service and redoing the work that is the expense. We aim to Do it right first time!

At Pestokill we have several quality systems in place which are industry specific and we work with our business Clients to ensure they can meet the standards required by their Clients.

The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) is the governing body of the pest control industry, providing guidance, setting policies and standards for member pest control companies as well as providing training and examination. BPCA Members are assessed to ensure that they eligible, reputable and are meeting set criteria. Pestokill adopted the BPCA from inception and believe that professionalism will be driven forward with the BPCA membership and policies.

SOFHT membership provides updates for the food industry and allows Pestokill to keep abreast of the demands which are made on this industry.

Pestokill first adopted this quality system in 1997 and has continued to review our systems to maintain the accreditation. We have reviewed and modified our system over the years to ensure that it matches our core and family business values along with delivering a consistent service. Our culture throughout the company is to deliver a quality service.

This system is used by many Clients particularly in the retail sector. Approval is an administration procedure to validate that critical documentation is in place. This includes Health & Safety policies, Insurance limits, Risk Assessments and Quality Systems.

CHAS is used by procurement professionals in the private and public sector in order to assist them in sourcing qualified sub-contractors. Accreditation means that Pestokill have been Pre Qualified through assessment of policy and procedures in terms of Health and Safety performance.

The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) is a leading body in premises management. Buildings managed by outsourced FM need multiple disciplines. Pestokill specialise in providing pest control support to FM’s in delivering a consistent and quality service for their Clients to enhance their reputation.

This is specifically related to the Rail Industry to ensure that we comply with the strict standards of competency and safety for the work. For the Rail Industry we are also required to provide training for each of the individual Service Team Members. The ‘Personal Track Safety’ (PTS) qualification ensures that each individual works in a safe and restricted manner. In order to achieve and maintain the (PTS) ticket the individual will complete medical and periodical unannounced drug and alcohol tests and mandatory retraining every two years.

PEST CONTROL is largely a race between the emergence of new pests and the emergence of new techniques for their control.
